Usually, these flowers are either deep orange, either red. But last summer has been awful here: cold, rain, no sun etc., so this flower has grown up very late with this weird color. :D

Actually, these flowers are either deep orange, either almost dark red. But last Summer, it has been very rainy and very cold, it was unusual even for Eastern Canada. And few of these flowers have blossomed in September with this strange "palette of color" as you say.
