House of one of my ancestors who has been part of the first settlement so far East on year 1,700, in the colony then called Nouvelle-France. He was accompanying the new Seignior François La Sales de la Terrière.
Three centuries old houses are very rare in Canada.

People take very good care of old houses, our country is still "young", there are not too many ancient houses though.
