I am an avid Birder from South Africa and I love all your bird photographs. I thought the name for this bird was strange, as it looks nothing like a Robin and more like a Thrush (here we commonly have Olive Thrushes). I read that it is part of the Thrush family - still strange to name it a type of Robin. I love learning new species of birds and your photo's help a lot :D

The Robins in North American have nothing to do with the Robins found in Europe.  They are a different species.
